Child Care
The Masonic Care Community has a Child Car Center that offers affordable, professional
child care for employees, as well as residents of Oneida and Herkimer counties. The 6,500 square foot
facility is designed specifically to meet the needs of children from 6 weeks to 5 years old. It provides
both indoor and outdoor recreation for children under the direction of an early childhood professional
and is staffed by qualified teachers and caregivers.
A registered nurse visits the center regularly to maintain health and safety standards. A registered
dietitian administers a nutritional meal plan of snacks, breakfast and lunches prepared by the Dietary
staff of the Masonic Care Community. This center allows the Masonic Care Community to provide intergenerational
programs to our residents as well as providing an important service for members in the surrounding areas.
The Masonic Care Community's Child Care Center is a member of the National Association for the Education
of Young Children and of the Mid York Child Care Coordinating Council, Inc.
